Video Editor

About the Role

1. Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a finished project that aligns with GMA’s brand guidelines and messaging.
Produce dynamic social media reels, podcast edits, event highlights, interviews, promotional, and cinematic videos.

2. Creative Collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop new video concepts.
Collaborate on storyboarding, scripting, and overall video production planning.

3. Brand Consistency: Ensure that all video content maintains a consistent look and feel reflective of GMA’s identity.
Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, and other design elements as needed.

4. Project Management: Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and adjusting priorities as necessary.
Organize and archive video assets and projects for easy retrieval.

5. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest video trends, editing techniques, and industry best practices.
Be proactive in suggesting creative improvements and new ideas for content delivery.

Requirements

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in photo editing and graphic designing software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Affinity Photo, or similar).

    • Familiarity with the creative workflow process

  • Experience:

    • Demonstrable experience in content designing with a portfolio showcasing your work.

    • Experience with social media content creation is highly desirable.

  • Personal Attributes:

    • Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset.

    • Excellent time management and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

    • Interest or background in finance and global markets is a bonus, as it helps contextualize our content.

Job Type

Note on Work Arrangement: Although much of the work can be done remotely, you may be required to attend filming sessions in person. This ensures you can directly oversee on-set activities to best complement your creative workflow.
